Nonprofit Policy Statement
BVU provides nonprofit services to organizations that meet one of the following criteria:
- All 501(c)3 organizations
- Municipal, county, state, and/or federal organizations serving the public
- Public or private (nonprofit) schools
- Certain 501(c)(6) and 501(c)(7) organizations
BVU will seek to refer board candidates to organizations meeting the following criteria:
- One of the criteria listed above, with proof of status on file at BVU
- Operate out of a non-residential office
- At least one full-time paid staff member
